ABOUT RICHARD JACKSON
Reclaimed Wood Art
Reclaimed wood art is one of my passions. The wood is not new, unstable, uniform, generic or cheap. It’s not the latest trend or the quickest fix. It’s not all good or all middle of the road. This wood lies in wait for some TLC and it is original and soulful. Every piece is a slice of history – and every resulting work of art is just as original and soulful. I like to create art from reclaimed wood found in the foothills of the Ozarks and nature inspires my work. Every piece has a story to tell and it’s a habit that I can’t break. I am equally passionate about photography and painting, among other artistic pursuits.
Thanks for supporting my habits!

“My RJ Arts walnut coffee table is one helluva piece of furniture. Takes two men and a boy to move this centerpiece of my living room!”
